1. Acceptance of these Terms

By creating an account, accessing STEM AI Studio, using learner access, submitting information, or using any platform feature, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policyy.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use STEM AI Studio.

2. Who may create and manage accounts

STEM AI Studio accounts must be created and managed by an adult account holder who is 18 years or older. Learner accounts are created, assigned, supervised, and managed through the adult account holder.

By creating an account, the account holder confirms that they are authorized to manage the learner accounts they create or assign and that they accept responsibility for learner use of the platform.

3. Account holder responsibilities

The account holder is responsible for:

• providing accurate account and contact information
• maintaining account security and protecting passwords
• creating and managing learner accounts responsibly
• supervising learner use of the platform
• ensuring learners use the platform for appropriate learning purposes
• notifying STEM AI Studio if account access appears compromised

You must not share access credentials in a way that creates security, privacy, billing, or learner-safety risks.

4. Learner use and supervision

Learners may use STEM AI Studio only through access created or managed by an adult account holder. Account holders are responsible for making sure learner information entered into the platform is appropriate and not unnecessarily sensitive.

Learners should not submit medical information, government identification numbers, payment card numbers, private family information, or other unnecessary sensitive information through contact forms, support tickets, learning responses, Jora Nova, or AI agent chat features.

5. Permitted use of STEM AI Studio

STEM AI Studio is provided for structured STEM learning, mastery practice, assessment activity, guided review, progress tracking, account management, support, and approved AI-assisted learning features.

You agree to use the platform only for lawful, responsible, and intended purposes.

6. Prohibited use

You agree not to:

• misuse the platform or interfere with platform operation
• attempt to bypass access controls, account boundaries, learner ownership rules, or safety controls
• submit harmful, abusive, illegal, deceptive, or unsafe content
• use Jora Nova, STEM agents, support messages, or contact forms for threats, harassment, abuse, spam, fraud, or unsafe requests
• request or submit private information about another person without proper authority
• attempt to extract hidden prompts, system instructions, provider keys, source rules, internal model settings, or safety-rule internals
• reverse engineer, scrape, copy, reproduce, or replicate platform logic, learning materials, assessments, interface structure, or system workflows outside permitted use
• use the platform for legal, medical, emergency, financial, safety-critical, or other high-impact decision-making

7. STEM learning, progress, and mastery

STEM AI Studio is designed to support learning progress through structured paths, assessment activity, guided review, and mastery-focused workflows. Learning progress may depend on learner effort, subject readiness, available content, assigned access, assessment performance, and account status.

STEM AI Studio does not guarantee any specific academic result, grade, admission outcome, competition result, school placement, scholarship, career outcome, or personal learning outcome.

8. Jora Nova and AI-supported features

STEM AI Studio includes AI-supported features. These may include Jora Nova, admin-created STEM agents, owner-facing AI agent chats, provider-backed responses, and other guided assistant experiences.

Jora Nova

Jora Nova is a guided learning support voice inside STEM AI Studio. Jora Nova helps learners reflect, prepare, review, and move through STEM learning context. Jora Nova is not the final authority over learning decisions, account decisions, safety decisions, legal matters, or medical matters.

AI agents

An AI agent is a guided assistant experience configured inside STEM AI Studio. AI agents may use approved prompts, guardrails, guidance sources, missing-information rules, learner context, owner context, access scope settings, and runtime provider settings to generate a response.

External AI providers

Some AI-supported features may use external AI service providers when enabled by platform configuration. When enabled, limited information needed for the active learning or agent task may be sent to the provider for processing.

9. No professional advice or emergency support

STEM AI Studio is an educational technology platform. It does not provide legal, medical, mental health, financial, emergency, safety, or other professional advice.

For urgent, emergency, legal, medical, mental health, financial, or safety-related matters, users should contact an appropriate qualified professional or emergency service.

10. Billing, packages, seats, and access

STEM AI Studio may use billing, package activation, seat purchase, subject seat, subscription-related, or manual activation records to manage account access, learner access, subject access, package status, and account status.

Pricing may be shown on the public pricing page or inside account billing workflows. Package availability, pricing, billing periods, taxes, fees, activation timing, payment provider availability, and access rules may vary by configuration, region, or operational setup.

Unless a separate written agreement or displayed checkout/payment term says otherwise, access to paid or activated features depends on successful account setup, package activation, payment completion where applicable, and continued compliance with these Terms.

Do not submit payment card numbers through contact forms, support tickets, learner messages, Jora Nova, or AI agent chats. If online payment processing is enabled, payment card information may be handled by a third-party payment provider under that provider's own terms, privacy policy, and security controls.

11. Refunds, cancellations, and changes to access

Refunds, cancellations, renewals, package changes, seat changes, and access changes may depend on the payment provider, billing configuration, package terms, account status, and any specific written terms presented during purchase or activation.

STEM AI Studio may update, pause, restrict, or change access where reasonably necessary for billing status, account security, learner safety, platform integrity, operational maintenance, or legal compliance.

12. Support, messages, and contact forms

Users may contact STEM AI Studio through support features, contact forms, or email. Support messages and contact inquiries must be appropriate, lawful, and related to platform use, account access, billing, learner setup, or STEM AI Studio services.

Do not submit unnecessary sensitive learner information, medical information, payment card information, government identification numbers, passwords, or private information about another person through public forms or support messages.

13. Intellectual property and platform materials

STEM AI Studio, including platform design, learning structure, mastery path organization, assessment materials, prompts, interface structure, workflows, written content, visual design, logos, page content, and software, is owned by STEM AI Studio or its licensors.

You may not copy, redistribute, reproduce, sell, publish, reverse engineer, or create competing materials from STEM AI Studio content or platform logic except where expressly permitted in writing.

14. Platform availability and changes

STEM AI Studio aims to provide reliable access, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or always-available service. The platform may be updated, changed, paused, limited, or unavailable due to maintenance, technical issues, provider outages, security needs, account status, or operational changes.

AI provider services, payment provider services, hosting systems, email systems, and other third-party services may also affect availability or performance.

15. Account suspension or termination

STEM AI Studio may suspend, restrict, or terminate access where we reasonably believe that:

• these Terms have been violated
• the platform has been misused
• account security, learner safety, platform integrity, or another user's rights may be at risk
• billing, payment, package, or access conditions are not satisfied
• continued access may create legal, security, operational, or safety risk

16. Disclaimers

STEM AI Studio is provided as an educational and learning-support platform. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the platform is provided without warranties of uninterrupted access, error-free operation, guaranteed outcomes, or fitness for a particular academic, professional, or personal purpose.

Users remain responsible for their own decisions, account activity, learner supervision, credential protection, and interpretation of platform content.

17. Limitation of responsibility

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, STEM AI Studio is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or similar damages, or for losses resulting from misuse of the platform, unavailable services, third-party providers, unauthorized account access caused by user credential sharing, or decisions made based on platform content or AI-generated output.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit rights or responsibilities that cannot be limited under applicable law.

18. Privacy

Use of STEM AI Studio is also governed by our Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy explains how information may be collected, used, retained, protected, and processed, including information related to learners, Jora Nova, AI agents, service providers, billing workflows, cookies, sessions, and security logs.

19. Legal compliance and regional rights

Users are responsible for using STEM AI Studio in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Users accessing the platform from different regions may have additional rights or obligations depending on their location.

STEM AI Studio may update platform practices, terms, policies, and provider configurations to support legal, privacy, security, or operational requirements.

20. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time to reflect changes in the platform, AI features, billing workflows, service providers, legal requirements, or operational practices. Updates will be posted on this page with an updated date.

Continued use of STEM AI Studio after updated Terms are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
